The story of how Ivan’s Torch ™ came about.

Ivan had been a professional juggler and fire artist since 1989. In 1999 he was invited to entertain at the City Hall in Stockholm, where the Nobel Prize dinner takes place every year. It was a prestigious event and the King and Queen of Sweden were going to be there.

The event organizer asked Ivan to perform a fire juggling show that would last 15 min. Ivan told them since no torches were burning that long he would need to stop and dip the torches or pick up new torches every 3rd minute which made the event organizer drop the whole idea.

Ivan decided to develop a juggling torch that would make such a show possible.
He invented the torch with a fuel tank.

He also wanted to develop a fire torch without the usual problems: wicks that wear out, adhesive decorations that come loose, tape glue that dissolves, handles that crack or tear, wood that gets charred by the fire.

After many years of experimenting Ivan’s Torch ™ was ready.
